We are looking for an Education & Outreach Officer to join our team based in Dinnet, near Aboyne, Aberdeenshire.
About the role
We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic person who can inspire young people and communities to connect with rivers and the natural environment. The successful candidate will be an engaging outdoor learning practitioner with strong communication skills and experience delivering environmental education. Working with schools, community groups and the River Office team, they will support indoor and outdoor learning visits, use multimedia to reach a wide range of audiences, and share their knowledge in an engaging way.

- Employer: The River Dee Trust, a conservation charity.
- Location: River Office, Dinnet, with delivery of the River Dee Trust Education Programme in schools across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, plus some hybrid working.
- Contract: Two-year fixed term with an expectation this will be a permanent role.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
