It is always inspiring and heartwarming to learn how much the River Dee means to people and how it has positively impacted their lives. The team here at the River Dee Trust would very much like to thank the friends and family of Gail Riekie who recently raised £3,700 for the Trust in her memory.
The money will be put towards purchasing five groves of trees for the One Million Trees campaign. Gail had a passionate interest in nature conservation and the need for more biodiversity, so it was felt by her friends that this would be a fitting and lasting tribute to a very special and highly regarded person.
